Tutoring

Thank you for your patience with the startup of our ASES program here at DATA. We are happy to note we are bringing our ASES program back on campus starting the week of April 26th. Our ASES program offers opportunities for students to participate in; academic tutoring and homework assistance, enrichment and social-emotional learning activities, and or Leader in Me skill building curriculum.

ASES 

Dear DATA Families and Students,

We are excited to provide DATA students with the opportunity to participate in the Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) Expanded Learning/After School Program provided in partnership with the Ventura YMCA.
 

WHO will work with DATA students during ASES?
The VUSD program is a partnership the Ventura YMCA. The Y staff will be working with enrolled students and will communicate with the DATA teacher/counselor liaison to support student success.

WHAT is DATA ASES?
The program offers opportunities for students to participate in:
Academic tutoring and homework help
Leader in Me skill building based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Enrichment and Social-Emotional Learning activities

WHERE will DATA ASES take place?
The program will begin as a virtual option during fall 2020 and may change as school programs change.

WHEN is DATA ASES?
The program will be available daily Monday –Friday
2:30PM – 5:30PM each day divided into two 90-minute blocks each day
Students must commit to attending a minimum of one 90-minute block per week.

Students will be grouped based on grade level and content area to provide the best support for each student.
The DATA teacher/counselor liaison will communicate with students’ teachers and tutors regarding individual student needs and progress
