Our Mission
De Anza Academy of Technology & the Arts (DATA) is a high achieving and innovative magnet school where students, community, and staff collaborate in authentic learning experiences. Together, we support an inclusive environment focused on relationships in order to develop skills for a global society.
Our Vision
DATA is a place of opportunity for all students to reach their highest potential as students and responsible members of our diverse community. Students, parents, faculty and staff are vital participants in the learning process. DATA has a safe, nurturing and respectful environment where teachers have the right to teach, students have the right to learn and parents have the responsibility to participate. Students, parents and staff will work together to ensure all students are successful.

6th Grade & New Student Orientation / Orientación para 6.º Grado y Nuevos Estudiantes

9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (GYM)
6th Grade & New Student Parent Orientation | Orientación para Padres de 6.º Grado y Estudiantes Nuevos
9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (Cafeteria)
All incoming 6th grade students and new students are encouraged to attend Orientation. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the campus, learn about school expectations, and prepare for a successful start to the school year.
Se invita a todos los estudiantes que ingresan a 6.º grado y a los estudiantes nuevos a asistir a la orientación. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de familiarizarse con el campus, conocer las expectativas escolares y prepararse para un comienzo exitoso del año escolar.
7th & 8th Grade Schedule Pick-Up / Entrega de Horarios para 7.º y 8.º Grado
Thursday, August 6 | Jueves, 6 de agosto
7th Grade | 7.º Grado: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
8th Grade | 8.º Grado: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Students will be able to pick up their schedules and receive important back-to-school information.

Annual Updates Support / Apoyo para las Actualizaciones Anuales
Need assistance completing your Annual Updates? Staff will be available after orienation and schedule pick-up to provide support and answer questions.
¿Necesita ayuda para completar sus Actualizaciones Anuales? El personal estará disponible despues de la orientación y entrega de horarios para brindar apoyo y responder preguntas.
